Overview
Rows of two-storey buildings feature the region’s familiar elements-tiled roofs, shuttered windows, ground-floor shops-each individually coloured in soft pastels: pinks, mint greens, sky blues, peach corals, lavenders, and warm yellows. Everything is arranged in a thoughtful, harmonious grid.Â
Clean lines and flat tones create a contemporary graphic quality honouring traditional streetscapes from Singapore to Hanoi. From afar, it’s an abstract pattern; up close, subtle variations reveal individuality within sameness.
As the print size increases, the composition expands to reveal more individual shophouses rather than scaling a single image. Larger sizes offer greater variation and detail, creating a richer visual experience.

Fine art paper prints are produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 310gsm archival, acid-free paper using pigment inks for longevity and colour accuracy. (Link: More Info)

Understanding sizes and formats
Each size has been carefully composed to suit its proportions. Paper prints include a white border designed for matboard gallery style framing, while canvas prints are finished without a matboard and slightly less white space around the edges for a similar contemporary look.
 Paper prints are designed to be framed with a matboard. Canvas prints do not include a matboard and are intended to be displayed as finished artworks.

Framing Recommendation
For paper prints, I recommend finishing the artwork in a box frame. For best results, prints should be framed behind non-reflective art glass to preserve colour depth and luminosity.
For professional conservation, paper prints should be set back from the glass using spacers. This allows airflow around the artwork and prevents direct contact with the glass.
